It gives me great pleasure, as Chairman, to welcome you to Corpus Christi Juniors Football Club.

For me, Corpus Christi Juniors FC has always been about far more than football. We are a community, a family and, most importantly, a club that puts our young people first.

Corpus Christi Juniors FC is much more than a football club to me — it is part of my family’s history and something that has been part of our lives for over 20 years.

The club was originally formed in 2005 by me and my family as a men’s football team, which I also proudly played for. My Mom, Dad, Nan and Grandad have all been involved with the club over the years, making Corpus Christi a true family club from the very beginning.

In 2017, we started a new chapter by converting Corpus Christi into a junior football club, giving young players the opportunity to enjoy football, develop their ability, make friendships and proudly represent the Corpus Christi name.

As Chairman and Club Owner, I’m incredibly proud of how far we have come. My ambition is to continue growing the club while never losing the family values, community spirit and togetherness that have been at the heart of Corpus Christi since 2005.

Corpus Christi isn’t just a football club to me — it’s my family, my history and a legacy I’m incredibly proud to continue.

Grassroots football can play such an important part in a young person's life. Of course, we want our players to improve their football and enjoy success on the pitch, but what happens away from the pitch is just as important.

We want our players to make friends, build confidence, learn about teamwork and respect, experience the highs and lows of being part of a team and create memories that they will hopefully carry with them for the rest of their lives.

One of the things I am most proud of is the welcoming environment we continue to build at Corpus Christi Juniors FC.

Whatever a child's ability or background, we want them to feel that they belong here. Every player who pulls on a Corpus Christi shirt should feel proud to represent our club and know that they are a valued part of it.

Winning is a fantastic feeling and we will always encourage our teams to be competitive and strive to be the best they can be. But winning isn't everything.

How we conduct ourselves, how we treat our teammates and opponents, how we respond when things don't go our way and how much our young players enjoy their football are equally important.

We want to develop good footballers, but also good people.

A grassroots football club simply couldn't exist without volunteers.

Our coaches, managers, committee members and other volunteers give up countless hours of their own time every season. Much of what they do happens behind the scenes and often goes unnoticed, but without their dedication there would be no Corpus Christi Juniors FC.

I cannot thank them enough.

The same goes for our parents and carers. Whether you're standing on a touchline on a cold Sunday morning, travelling to away games, washing another muddy football kit or simply encouraging your child to enjoy themselves, your support is an enormous part of our club.

I would also like to thank our sponsors, local businesses and community partners. Their support allows us to continue developing the club and providing opportunities for young people to play football.

I am incredibly proud of how far Corpus Christi Juniors Football Club has come, but we are always looking forward.

We want to continue growing and improving our club, developing stronger relationships with our local community and creating opportunities for even more young people to get involved in grassroots football.

We want Corpus Christi Juniors FC to be a club that our players are proud to represent, our volunteers are proud to be part of and our local community is proud to call its own.

There will always be challenges along the way, as there are with every grassroots club, but if we continue working together and putting our young people at the heart of every decision we make, I believe the future of Corpus Christi Juniors FC is extremely exciting.

So whether you've been part of Corpus Christi for many years or you're visiting us for the very first time, welcome.

Thank you for supporting our club, our volunteers and, above all, our young players.

I hope you enjoy being part of our journey.

Together, we are Corpus Christi Juniors Football Club.
